In Ephesians 6, Paul says that he is an ambassador in chains for proclaiming the mystery of the Gospel. While human beings could never discover God's eternal purpose, He has graciously made the mystery known. The message of the Gospel is a proclamation of the terms for peace which the world often rejects. Nonetheless, we must be faithful to the Gospel entrusted to us for it is God’s message to the world, not ours.
