The Fruit of Light 2/12/2017

Ephesians

Though we were spiritually dead children of wrath, God made us alive and adopted us as His children. The commands in the last three chapters of Ephesians are relationally based, dependent upon our new identity as children of light. If the light of Christ has dispelled the darkness that once resided in our hearts, we will bear the fruit of light. The Scripture also refers to the fruit Christians should produce as the fruit of wisdom, righteousness and the Spirit. In each case, the fruit is produced by the power of God within the hearts of God’s people.
