Modern liberal scholarship claims that the nativity accounts of Matthew and Luke are mythological and even historically contradictory. However, their supposed evidence is completely subjective and based upon an anti-supernatural bias. There is absolutely no objective evidence for denying the historical accuracy of either account as they harmonize perfectly. There is sound evidence that the visit of the wise men is not legend, but a historical reality.
