In the final paragraph of Christ’s High Priestly Prayer, Jesus broadens the scope of His intercessory prayer to include all of God’s people in every age. The Father gave His Word to the Son and Christ entrusted that Word to His Apostles. We have that Word preserved for us in the Scripture. Christ prays for all who believe in Christ as presented in the Gospel.
