In Christ’s High Priestly Prayer, He prays for all who will believe through “their word” (the word of the Apostles). The word of the Apostles is the word of the Father entrusted to them by Christ and preserved for us in the New Testament. Truly believing this “word” requires understanding, assent and trust.
