In John 17:24, we see the heart of our Savior. He desires that we might be with Him and see His glory. That is what heaven in all about. God’s people share this desire with Christ, longing to dwell with Him eternally and see His glory. Christ wants us with Him and enjoy the ultimate blessing of seeing His glory because He loves us. If we love Him, we will want the same. We grow in our love for Him and expectation of His return as we grow in our knowledge of Him, availing ourselves of the means of grace.
