Epaphroditus, an Example of Christlikeness 11/15/2020

Philippians

In Philippians 2:25-30, while informing the congregation of his future plans, the Apostle Paul commends one of their own. Epaphroditus was a member of the Philippian congregation sent to bring aid to the Apostle and minister to his needs while he was in chains. In the course of discharging his mission, he became seriously ill but God showed mercy and raised him up. The Apostle sets him forth as a faithful and selfless brother, fellow worker and fellow soldier who risked his life for the cause of Christ.
