Reformed Quote of the Month

"Afflictions are light when compared with what we really deserve. They are light when compared with the sufferings of the Lord Jesus. But perhaps their real lightness is best seen by comparing them with the weight of glory which is awaiting us."

      - A.W. Pink

Excerpts from the Westminster Confession of Faith Shorter Catechism

Q. 84. What doth every sin deserve?

A. Every sin deserveth God’s wrath and curse, both in this life, and that which is to come.

Relationships: A Matter of Spiritual Warfare

Pt.1

In this month's article Pastor Stan McGehee, Jr speaks to spritual warfare. Spiritual warfare is a controversial subject among modern evangelicals. It is often either neglected or exaggerated. However, it is biblical topic with practical implications for the Christian life. In the context of Paul's treatment of the subject in Ephesians, it concerns relationships. Read his article here.

Choosing my Religion

Monday Night Bible Study

On January 23rd we will begin a new study based on the 2004 Ligonier National Conference "A Portrait of God". Many Christians today do not know who God is. Often they come before His presense too lightly, not realizing this is indeed the God who holds their very breath. In this session we will listen to such speakers as R.C. Sproul, Ligon Duncan, Sinclair Ferguson, and many more and study the various attributes of God and how we as His people should respond to them. There is no book for this session so just come in ready for a great time of fellowship and discussion.
