The Time Is Fulfilled

This exploration of Mark chapter 1 takes us on a journey from Christ's baptism through his wilderness temptation to the inauguration of his earthly ministry. The wilderness is more than just a physical location; it's a testing ground where Christ proves himself as the true Son of God. After being tested in the wilderness and proving victorious over temptation, Christ begins His ministry in Galilee, proclaiming that the time is fulfilled and the kingdom of God is at hand. The Gospel age had dawned. We must repent and believe in the Gospel. The Gospel is not a negotiation; it’s a demand. It’s not a request for cooperation; it’s a command to be obeyed.  It’s not an invitation to politely consider; it’s a call to surrender to the Sovereign God of salvation. True repentance and faith are gifts from God, leaving us without grounds for boasting.
