Wake Up and Weep!

In Joel, God declares that Judah's present distress was His chastening hand. There were those in Judah oblivious to what God was doing because they were living in an inebriated stupor. God commands them to wake up, sobering them up by cutting off the source of their intoxication. They are to weep with a godly sorrow that leads to repentance.
