Walking by faith instead of sight not only refers to living by God's Word instead of circumstantial appearances, it also refers to seeing humanity according to God's assessment. Those who walk by faith no longer assess people according to appearance, i.e. their accomplishments, race, social standing, etc. We see Jesus as the incarnate Word of God, risen and seated at the Father's right hand, ourselves in humility and all of humanity as marred images of God whom Christ may call to Himself.
