When Jesus entered Jerusalem with crowds shouting Hosanna, the people believed they were welcoming the promised Messiah who would lead Israel to victory. Less than a week later, Jesus lay in a tomb and the disciples' hopes were dashed. However, Jesus had won the victory, verified by His resurrection from the dead. Because Christ lives, we too shall live.
