In Ephesians 6:19, Paul requests prayer for himself. We have nothing that we did not receive and accomplish nothing apart from the gracious power of God. To recognize our need of prayer is to realize that all we are and all we do is only by God’s merciful and gracious work in us. Even the Apostle Paul was in the need of prayer.
