On Palm Sunday, Jesus entered Jerusalem to shouts of “Hosanna! Blessed is the king who comes in the name of the Lord!” By riding into the city on the foal of a donkey, Christ was confirming their cries. He was coming to save His people. In less than a week, the hopes of Christ’s followers were dashed. It seemed that triumph had turned to tragedy. But Christ was not being defeated. He triumphed through the tragedy.
