God sanctifies us in the truth and the truth is His Word. The process of sanctification is growing in grace so that we reflect more of God’s holy attributes until we are finally conformed to the image of Christ. God’s Word is the means of grace by which this is achieved. His Word is alive and powerful, transforming our thinking and reordering our lives.
