In Malachi 3:6-12, the Lord tells Judah that, because He does not change, they are not consumed. The people of Judah belonged to a long history of waywardness and covenant breaking. While God would not cast them away, He would not bless their disobedience. The Lord calls them to repent and trust in Him, honoring Him with their tithes and offerings with a promise of blessing.
