In Philippians 3:4-7, the Apostle Paul uses his impressive “spiritual resume” as a Jew to demonstrate that no one should have confidence in their status or achievement. Nothing we do will ever make us acceptable before God. This leaves us with no place to go but the cross. Our confidence must be in Christ alone.
