When Paul commands wives to submit to their husbands, the only reason given is that the husband is head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church. While it is becoming increasingly popular to try and mitigate what the Scripture clearly says. The husband’s headship is rooted in creation but it is not a domineering, self-serving leadership.
