As Christians, we are called to walk by faith and not by sight. God's revelation of Himself and His purpose given in His Word provides us a perspective that "sight cannot see." In other words, it provides us with guidance and direction that our senses cannot discern from the world around us. As the Apostle closes chapter 4 of 2 Corinthians, he reminds his readers that the things which are seen (this present evil age) are temporal, the things which are not seen (the truths of God we embrace by faith) are eternal.
