The Great Commission is often considered only in terms of foreign missions. There is one mission of the church, foreign and domestic: to make disciples. When the church either misunderstands or forgets this, she is subject to "mission drift." The church loses her focus and begins to major on minors and sometimes compromises the Gospel itself.
