In Ephesians 5:19, the Apostle Paul describes the assembly of God’s people when it is directed by the Holy Spirit. This Spirit guided assembly is described in Colossians 3:16 as a worship gathering of people among whom Christ’s Word dwells richly. The assembly directed by the Spirit will be a gathering of various members of the body of Christ who are unified in the purpose of worshipping God as He prescribes. The Word of God will be central in this assembly and will follow the simple directions for worship given in Scripture.
