The 2012 presidential election left many Christians bewildered. Nonetheless, the Sovereign God sets kings upon their thrones for His own purpose. The election tells us much about the ungodly worldview of the majority of Americans. We too often forget that we are ultimately citizens of a heavenly kingdom. How do we seek to influence the world around us without becoming too heavily invested in this passing away world. The Scripture has explicit instruction for helping us navigate those often treacherous waters.
