The Great Commission is recorded in at least five of Christ's post-resurrection appearances. They all, either directly, or in the context, instruct Christ's disciples to go into all the world proclaiming His Lordship and the Gospel of the salvation that is in Him alone. The imperative is to "preach" and "make disciples" but in order to fulfill the global aspect of their mission, they must venture into all the world. The disciples obeyed Christ's demands as they gave their lives for the Gospel in many different foreign lands.
