In Ephesians 6:14, Paul begins enumerating God's provision that enables His children to withstand the schemes of the devil. He describes this provision as armor. The first piece of armor is the belt of truth. The Apostle is referring to the truth of the Gospel which explains reality and God's purpose for all creation. God has revealed this truth to His children that we might live a genuine life of obedience and truth.
