There are significant parallels between the situation in Habakkuk’s day and the struggles of the Christians to whom the writer of Hebrews addresses his letter. God’s people are encouraged to stand fast in the day of trouble by trusting in what God has revealed. Trusting what God has promised gives us an eternal perspective and helps us direct our lives accordingly.
