In Ephesians 6:4, Paul commands parents to tenderly and affectionately nurture their children toward maturity in the discipline and instruction of the Lord. Christian parents are responsible for bringing their children up according to the Word of God, training them in godliness by what they teach them, where they take them and how they live before them.
