Rejoicing Always Is God’s Will for You 8/4/2024

The Church of Thessalonica

The command to rejoice always is not hyperbole. This is confirmed and reinforced by the fact that Scripture often joins the act of rejoicing to the experience of trials and tribulations. The joy of the Christian isn’t based on feelings; it is grounded in what we know. We are able to rejoice, even as we experience momentary grief because we are able to see beyond the horizon of this age to the eternal glory that awaits all who are in Christ.
