Paul prays that he might to return to Thessalonica to provide further discipleship so these saints might grow and abound in love and be found blameless in holiness when Christ returns. In his petition, he acknowledges that it is the Lord who does the work and prays that he might be the means through which the Lord prepares these saints for the Savior’s coming.
