In 2 Thessalonians, Paul refers to our Lord’s second Advent as the “revelation” of Jesus Christ. While God in omnipresent, His presence is hidden from view in the earthly realm. When Christ comes again, every eye will behold His glory. This revelation of Christ will be glorious relief for the people of God but a terrifying experience for those who are willfully ignorant of God and refuse to obey the Gospel of our Lord Jesus.
