The fledgling church at Thessalonica had joyfully received the Gospel in much affliction. They were remaining faithful despite increased opposition. As Paul continued his missionary efforts in Greece, he found no need to inform others about the Thessalonians' faithfulness to Christ for word had echoed throughout Greece and beyond. These persecuted saints were unabashed about their faith. They were living the Gospel “out loud.”
