In 1 Thessalonians 4:11, Paul gives three admonitions in the context of living as pleases God. We are to aspire to live quietly, mind our own affairs, and work with our hands that we might live in a proper and orderly way both among the saints and before the world. Our lives are to witness of God’s sanctifying grace.
