Paul’s command to “test everything” is simple and straightforward. Coming to Christ is a radical transformation of our identity. Those who are in Christ are a new creation embarking on a life of transformation into the image of the Savior. In the process of the renewing of our minds, everything must be tested in light of God’s Word, including our thoughts, motives, and actions.
